The Definition of Darkness

The definition of darkness,
Is the absence of light,
In the presence of light,
Blindness is the absence of sight.

Fight as we may,
We remain enslaved in behaviors,
Indentured to the ambitions,
Of invisible slavers.

Creators of our reality,
Unconscious betrayers,
Of the impetus’ nature,
On the backs of our neighbors.

Castles are erected,
Love is rejected in turn,
Empty stomachs churn,
The connection even baffles the learned.

Churches are praying,
Collection plates are passing you by,
Societies die,
The question you should be asking is why.

The definition of darkness,
Is the absence of light,
In the presence of light,
Blindness is the absence of sight.

  1. We are the light of the world, A city set on a hill which cannot be hid. In the midst of darkness our light will shine to bring God Glory.
Even in the science Realm, Light is being released from our bodies continuously which the natureal eye cannot see. I love this spoken word Edward, you always had a "Way With words"....Keep up the good work.
